Twitter Shares Stories Of Pets Helping Them In Their Time Of Need

We hear so many stories here at I Can Has Cheezburger about heroic animals who saved their owner's lives. Either proverbially, by being a sweet and compassionate companion in their hooman's time of need, or quite literally, such as the dog who saved a baby's life or the  parrot who saved its owner by calling his name when a fire started in their home. No matter how many stories we hear about this topic, we never get tired of hearing more, because each story adds a little love and light to this world.

Today's article is a compilation of stories just like those - everyday pets acting like heroes. None of these dogs or cats saved their owners from a car accident, but they did so much just be being the kind and loving companions that their hoomans needed. Let this be a lesson to us all that sometimes all we need is a little love and kindness. Now without further ado, we hope you enjoy!

    Wow, this is truly incredible! Sometimes dogs just have a sixth sense when it comes to the people they love, much like a mother's instincts. We're so happy that this dog came to his hooman in her time of need and was so sweet about it!

    Wow, some doggos just know exactly what to do. Thank heavens that this good oy from the story was around to save the day, he looks like such a good boy! We really hope that he gets a nice big dog treat to chew on as a reward for his efforts.

She climbed in bed with me and hugged me for 16 hours without leaving even to eat or go to the garden. It meant everything. Honey will be there for you!
